Stephen and Charlie answer listener email about power adapters and over the air DVRs.

Tthe duo continue their discussion from last week's Coolness Lounge (coolnesslounge.podshow.com) in which Stephen suggests movie studios could make a heck of a lot more money by offering legal high-definition digital downloads of first run movies for $25. Charlie and Stephen respond to the multitude of listeners who wrote in to comment on this hot topic.

First, Stephen brings up the topic of Net Neutrality again and is irate that the U.S. is ranked 16th in the world when it comes to broadband speeds. He believes the Telcos, RIAA, and MPAA are applying pressure to stifle innovation and bandwidth increase all under the guise of piracy.

Then Charlie has an issue with Daylight Saving Time pointing to a study from Indiana that shows energy consumption actually increased 8% since the government implemented its new Daylight Saving Policy. The gurus both wonder why we are still using this antiquated time keeping method when changes in how citizens use electricity, and improvements in farm technology make DST obsolete.
