Inflatable Home Theater
Why enjoy your movies indoors, when you can set up a home theater outside? The inflatable home theater is really an inflatable screen in 8 foot or 12 foot sizes and, includes weatherproof speakers and an air pump to keep the screen from deflating during the good parts. It's $1000.
Zevro Indispensable Coffee Dispenser
The Zevro Indispensable Coffee Dispenser holds a half-pound of ground coffee, you squeeze its handle and it dispenses exactly 1 tablespoon of coffee at a time. It's airtight, keeps that coffee fresh, and it's just $25.
Sima Hitch
If you want to transfer music from one iPod to another, be prepared for a hassle and a half. The Hitch from Sima claims to make this a simple one-step process. No word on how it handles DRM content, but if it works spending $150 may not be that much.
Blackberry 8800 Smartphone
The Blackberry 8800 smartphone is on its way, and it's thinner than its predecessors, and it has Bluetooth 2.0 and WiFi connectivity. Plus, there's that famed Blackberry instant email that is so appealing to so many important people. It's not a bad-looking unit, either -- it looks kind of like the Motorola Q. No word on when it will be available or at what price.
Hot Seat Racing Chassis
Love playing Grand Turiso, but it seems a little lacking? Check out the Hot Seat Racing Chassis. It is compatible with any gaming system and has built in 5.1 surround to make you feel like you are in the action. Too bad it doesn’t have interactive motion feedback, though.
Sony NW-S706 4GB MP3 Player
The Sony NW-S706 is a 4GB MP3 player about the size of your thumb that will be available in black, pink or purple, and it has a tiny color screen, too. Its Quick Charge function gives you 50 hours battery life, and it also has in-line recording and an FM tuner. There might even be a model with Bluetooth. Let's hope so, because its $336 price is almost $100 more expensive than the 8GB iPod nano.
Light Guitar Pick
It’s a metronome and a lighted guitar pick all in one. Comes in a variety of colors and even has seven programmable beat patterns. Rock on, dude, for only $60.
Audi R8
The Audi R8 is a mid-engine sports car with a 420hp engine under the hood. I'll take mine with the Audi R-tronic sequential-shift gearbox, operated by a joystick control in the center console. It's a low-slung sports car with 18-inch aluminum wheels, goes zero to 60 in 4.2 seconds, and has a top speed of around 150 miles per hour. It's $80,000.
Swiss Army Spectrum Pen
These colorful pens have something more than a clicker on the top. Built into the head are a knife, scissors, file, screwdriver and even a light that’s activated when you press the Swiss Cross logo. As cool as it is, don’t think about taking it on a plane with you.
Minox Digital Classic Camera -- Leica M3
The Minox Digital Classic Camera is a 4-megapixel digital camera that's a miniature replica of a Leica M3 camera from the 1950s, but it's about a quarter the size. It's so exceptionally tiny that you could easily fit two of them in the palm of your hand. It's $190.
