Think Outside’s BoomTube Portable Speaker System

Think Outside, Inc. is a company that got its start making small foldable keyboards for PDAs. Now it's released the Stowaway BoomTube H2O1 ($155), a portable speaker system that at first appears like a 2 1/2 foot-long pipe. Upon closer inspection, there are two volume controls on top and two small speakers that detach from either side, turning into a small subwoofer with two satellites. We plugged our iPod nano into the BoomTube and gave these little speakers an extensive audition using both battery power and the included AC adapter.
